Before we get to the details of advocating LGBTQ, I believe it's important to cover the general basis of what it stands for and the history of where it first began.

A Brief History of LGBTQ
According to this website:https://www.apa.org/pi/lgbt/resources/history,
Bonnie Morris refers to, "Most historians agree that there is evidence of homosexual activity and same-sex love, whether such relationships were accepted or persecuted, in every documented culture."
It all started when according to Morris, she writes, "On June 12, 2016, the popular gay dance club Pulse in Orlando was the site of a mass shooting by one assailant. With at least 49 dead and another 50 injured, this hate crime is being called the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. It occurred during what was LGBT Pride weekend for towns and cities in and beyond the United States. The immediate, caring response from mayors, police and FBI authorities, local and national politicians, and the President of the United States, who reached out to express outrage and concern, demonstrates the enormous shift toward acceptance and public support for the LGBT community.
As this describes the history of LGBTQ, currently and presently, everyone no matter how they identify is valued as human in this world. I feel bad for everyone when that history occurred because it shifted society to change for the better. This is why we need to share, promote, and raise awareness, and acceptance that everyone can and chooses to love whoever they want to love. My website's purpose is to advocate for rights and find a space for individuals to hear they are accepted by me as an individual because I believe love is love, don't hide your pride.
